Some footage from my trip to F1 in Hungary
From 21 to 23 September 2012 there was a weekend full of bike related events in the Hungarian capital Budapest. The Netherlands Embassy made a Forum discussion and a traveling exhibition about Dutch Bike design possible. The Hungarian Cyclists' Club had invited 4 Dutch experts for the Forum and I was one of them. They also showed us the good and bad of Budapest bicycle infra on a long bike tour of the city. The Cycle Chic movement with people from around Europe also gathered and held a fashion show after the closed-street party because of the European Mobility Week. A weekend full of festivities! Veszprem is a historic city about two hours southwest of Budapest. Watch this video to find out more I’ve just landed in Budapest and I am going to pick up my luggage. Once you arrive at the airport, get on the bus to Kobanya and change to the underground there. The metro will take you to Nepliget Bus Terminal where you can catch the bus to Veszprem. The ticket to Veszprem costs less than 2,500 Hungarian Forints or about $10. The bus will take you on a modern motorway direct to the city center in Veszprem. The walk on this video will take you to all the major sights, such as the zoo, the pine forest, the hilltop viewing tower and the historic castle district. I am just walking towards Veszprem where there is a beautiful castle and an ancient medieval town centre. This forest here is ...
